Which / One

Genres are blurry. Vote what you feel then explain in the comments why my genre choices and examples are wrong.

Hip hop, but that's my taste showing through. Grunge is pretty definitive in that it didn't really exist before or after the 90s.

I included electronic because I think it was big in Europe and probably other countries and even in certain places in the US, but damned if I can give any examples.

it's weird how much electronica dominated popular radio, and how I have nostalgia for music that I share no culture with otherwise.

There's Corona, Dance Factory, Haddaway, Scatman, Eiffel 65, Right Said Fred maybe?

Those are good examples for sure. I know people today who are into house/techno/edm/whatever, and I know they really appreciate 90s electonica, especially euroelectronica. If I was a better friend Id know who some of their favs are haha.

Grunge.

All the other genres are still around.

Grunge pretty much died when it turned into Dad Rock.

For me its hip-hop

I feel like thats when the genre truly expanded passed simply being mainstream and became part of U.S pop culture. I was a 5 year old from the south rapping along to Snoop and Dre lmao
