No idea how it holds up but that and Tai was pretty shocking for a game back then. Especially since it was mostly a funny dudebro shooter where you shoot ugly aliens.

That fade away from how Dom remembered her to her current state when he finds her is haunting, man. And him asking Marcus what should he do, as if he didnt know already? Too much lol

Gears 3 overall still had the best story but that scene and Tai definitely stood out.

I mean being strung up by meat hooks and placed inside literal iron maidens while your allies all around you are tortured might fuck you up, and who knows what else they did. And it isn't like they do it for information or something, it's literally done just because. You can't say anything to make the torture go on for less time, can't bargain, can't do anything bit be tortured.

Locust are fucked up.
