61 y/o Belgian Action Star, Jean Claude Van Damme will star in his FINAL movie called "What's My Name?" which he plays HIMSELF and will be directed by Jeremy Zag where Cross Creek Films will fully finance the film about jean claude who reunites with fighting icons in matches against some of his past screen rivals including Dolph Lundren and Bolo Yeung

He says the movie will dip into his cinematic and personal life as did his 2008 film JCVD that will bring an end to his long career as an action film actor

Oscar winning director, Green Book and Republican scribe, Nick Vallelonga and Paul Sloan wrote the script that based it on Van Damme's life.

It will star Van Damme who was left in a coma following a serious car accident snd wakes up with amnesia and is unrecognizable to everyone, including himself. Through a series of fights against iconic fighters across his career, he begins a quest for his identity and life meaning leading to one final match

Van Damme said he wanted to revisit his career starting with Blood Sport that made him famous. He will fight a lot of on screen opponents that made him an acrobatic kick butt star from his movies such as Universal Soldier, Kickboxer, Bloodsport and Double Impact.

He said he wanted to make one last action movie before he retires as he's been living in hostels for 30 years making movies and wants to do something else with his life now. He went from Belgium to Hollywood in the late 80s where his career skyrocketed during the action movie craze up until the late 90s but after that his career in hollywood stalled where action films were no longer most wanted and he began making more independent films before his career re-launched with Kung-Fu Panda and The Expendables.

Surprisingly he can still do the incredible SPLITS that he did as the director was astonished at his skills for his age and hopes this movie will give his fans what swan song they hoped to see from him. The movie will film in Paris, France.

As for what's next for him? He said he's already bought a small boat and will travel the world and relax. He said "I've worked all my life, i lived all my live in hostels, that will be explained in the movie, i became far away from my family. After this, i want to relax and enjoy my final years of my life, my family"

He was married 5 times with his current wife, Glady Portugues and has 3 children who are all also specialized in martial arts

I haven't seen him in anything besides the Street Fighter movie myself. My mom had a big crush on him back in the day, and watched all of his movies in the 90s.

I really enjoyed the Amazon Prime mini.series he did a few years ago where he was playing himself as an elite super spy. This sounds like some good dumb fun like that, I'm on board

JCVD was a really good film.

It's kind of a shame his career peaked with Bloodsport.

He's had some fun ones afterward but that was always his best.
