17 y/o Racist American Idol Contestant, Caleb Kennedy, the teen who was a country star favourite by conservative watchers was arrested after he was HIGH on MARIJUANA when he crashed his pick up truck into a man's workship in South Carolina and killed him in front of his DAUGHTER!!

He is charged with felony driving under the influence resulting in death that killed 54 y/o Larry Parris who was in his garage working on a project with his young daughter

He was driving a 2011 Ford Pickup in Spartanburg when he careened into Parris' private driveway and pinned him underneath his truck

Kennedy said he had a taken a "deep draw" from a vaping device and then felt its effects while driving

The married father was standing just outside his homew orkship where he fixes boats at 12:41pm when he was killed

The warrant for his arrest said marijuana is part of the prosecution's felony charge that carries a maximum 25 years in the big house

Kennedy said the crash was a "terrible accident" as his lawyer, Ryan Beasly said he believed something caused a reaction with prescription medication in his driving toward his gf's house..

Parris' daughter, Kelsey ws heard screaming on a 911 call for help and Kennedy repeatedly yelling sorry in the background as he held the dying man

The daughter was screaming "daddy, daddy, please! Daddy, daddy please!"

Beasley said Kennedy was holding the man in his arms when police got there and said Kennedy is a high school junior and by all indications is a great student and never been in trouble

He is now charged as an adult and remains in jail

Kennedy was in the Top 5 last year on American Idol but dropped out after a video circulated of him sitting next to someone wearing a KKK hood that said "Bow"

He apologized for the video claiming his actions were not meant to be taken that way and his mother said he was only 12 at the time when it was taken out of context and that Caleb doesn't have a racist bone in his body and has friends of all races. American Idol eventually cut him loose.
