Define what you mean by country

Because educated people are usually a threat to the status quo

stupid and uneducated people are easier to manipulate and control

Uneducated peoe don't ask questions

Since everyone in the community/country benefits from being with, around, and amongst educated people, those who want to stay in power only want those benefits for themselves.

Capitalism requires low level workers to exploit.

The more educated the workforce is, the less chance they will be a low level worker. Then who will do the work?
If no one does the work, how will you make a profit?

Who is going to do stocking for Walmart? Who is going to work in Amazon warehouses?

Solution: raise the price of education or make having an education no longer enough.

Now you have even people with degrees having to work in Amazon warehouses.

Because then they are much more likely to vote for liberal/left wing governments and policies and that doesn't help rich billionaires.

Because people are needed to stock shelves and work on assembly lines. It's why education is so expensive and required for most good paying jobs. To limit those who are meant to be society's grunts.

Define well educated. Coming out of post secondary being able to complain about racism and the need for UBI sounds like you learned very little, especially as compared to someone that learned how a toilet works in order to fix it.
