But it's the first Valentine's. Better to make her feel special even if she doesn't need it than the alternative of not meeting some expectations. Even if she doesn't care much, she will when her coworkers or friends are jealous. The best thing is sending flowers to her work on an anniversary or something so all the coworkers get all excited for her. I am not doing that on Valentine's though, as stupidly expensive. I'll just buy some $20 bouquet at the store for when she gets home. I still say not to overdo it.
