Title is self explanatory. Not really trying to break bank over here or trying to play games in hd ultra definition. I can probably can sink like $1,300 into it.

I got no clue about parts or what I would need so any help would be appreciated. Thanks ya'll <3

Not worth it anymore. Just buy a prebuilt. Buy it now because it will take months for it to be made.

We used to have empires ruled by emperors. There used to be kingdoms lead by kings. Now all we got are countries.

This. I feel as though the chip shortage will forever change the cost of goods even if they end up rectifying the problem.

I'd wait and see what new CPUs and GPUs are coming out. That's when enthusiasts will sell off their previous gen stuff which you can pick up for a steal.

Lol you picked about the worst time possible, but that's already been covered. Tomshardware.com is my best starting point whenever I get the itch, start there

$1300 should be enough if you can find at least a 3060 gpu at msrp.

Youll need a CPU, motherboard, 32 gigs of ram, 1tb ssd stick, 850 watt psu, and a heat sink for the cpu. Wouldnt hurt to get a couple extra fans with the pc case too.

If you want a pre built you could join some local Pc groups on Facebook for reasonable prices or search online.

If you are deadset on building your own, this is where I was able to upgrade my PC with a 3090 for close to MSRP with all parts considered:
