Dc animated movies. They're for kids who grew up on Christopher Reeve and the 1984 Supergirl. Suicide Squad. And BTAS Harley Quinn. That's how marketing works. A generation after they make cartoons, they market the same franchise to the adults who watched them. Even those Xmen movies had a good amount of harsh kills. In this case it's the teenagers who used to read Wolverine. Wolverine has always been... censored for the innocent. Ugh, I remember some of the scenes you're talking about. Dc really is limiting the MCU MCU is cool. Only grandpa remembers Captain America, so we get the PG versions of him, Black Widow (<3!) and um, ummmm Hawkeye. --- So much of the tragedy in human history can be explained by man's attempts to kill Cain. ... The source material has been skewing adult for a long time. Last I checked, the majority of Marvel/DC comic readers these days are 30+. But that may just be the floppies. Peacemaker is pretty graphic also, another DC show.
