It occurred to me that under our system of capitalism where both the free market and government actions have a role, we can act on the extremes more than once, correcting an initial measure that overreaches. The ability to correct mistakes is what gives us the ability to take risks with larger financial changes than would be safe under either a more laissez-faire or more state-interventionist capitalism. Your question of course assumes a more state-interventionist approach, which I think is very risky. So in method I would have to answer no. But in dollars and cents it wouldn't bother me at all.
