At the start of 2021 I was given a raise without being told it was going to happen. I went to corporate and asked them why they had money to give me a raise but no money to give my cooks a raise, and they said they had to keep the most important part of their restaurants happy. In a time when we couldnt get any cook positions filled even though we were in DESPERATE need (as most restaurants are/were). I then asked if I could have the raise I was given removed, and the money given to my cooks instead. I was told no.
