I'm going with the presumption we have three scum, which means a dead town game if we lynch another town, right? Short of special nighttime interactions, of course.

Gonna turn in for the night, today has kicked my ass. Will re-evaluate in the morning or whenever my stupid internal clock decides to awaken me.

But a summary of thought process:
Suspicious by inactivity: Scare, Tidus, red
I don't buy certain claims: plum, Chris, Mzero (likely one of the former two is the mouthpiece for the inactives, and probably advising Scare to eat the loss)
Trustable for today?? Mike/Crescent (though I'm still 5% spooked at the possibility of Mike fabricating WoD while being Zenos due to not being night killed but there was a LOT of flavor metaing going on yesterday.)

I've been going back and forth on this.

My action failed n1 which I assume is the message given by a role block, so Chris if you know who targeted me they are almost certainly scum

Well no one has stepped forward so it is probably the case that somehow plum is town who indeed got targeted by scum. Curious. Sadly I am just a motion detector. Plum n1 and red n2. No one bothered with red n2

I do feel like I have heard of "Motion Detector" before, but I have no idea from where.

Forgot is the wrong word. Ive been up with an infant for the last 4 hours. If I really wanted to nail Mafia I bet there are some contradictions I could read up on and that sounds like work and I have no desire to work right now. I think my mafia WAR is still positive so I havent replaced out but we are close.

other than scare, red has really jumped out at me as someone lacking conviction. I cant remember him having strong opinions toward anyone which is concerning.

Im pondering if scum chris would run that gambit to clear me. It isnt impossible, but seems less likely

I was on red day 1 and nothing has made me feel better about him since

but assuming Scare flips scum there are some interactions between them that make me wonder if they would link themselves like that

for example, Scare came in yesterday and voted Mike. Red told him to wait and he unvoted and said "as you wish red" or something. Then they were the last two votes on Ulti

I remember that being pretty weird. I prodded both of them like 3 times after that, and got nothing out of either of them. It's like they both showed up to nudge the day along and vanished. Scare and Red almost never spoke in each other's direction that I can remember, except when Scare called Chris and Red town "just for both being alive' at the start if day 2. Come to think of it, I'm not sure I've ever had a meaningful dialogue with either one of these two.

Thiough if anything looks bad on Red today, it's that Red's immediate reaction to the current Chris/Plum situation was to needlessly fish when Scare quite literally rolled over and died the entire day ago. It isn't the first time he's gone fishing this game.

And to sum up Scare: Scare's last post was 11 hours ago. It was whining that no one was engaging him and everyone was voting him based on his flavor claim.

I accuse him of wasting time and and challenge him to engage.

MZero actually asks him a question.

I'm just getting the feeling they know they're dead and so do their partners, but not all the partners are throwing them under the bus. Yet.

(All said it's barely 7-10 AM in the US, which could be a reason. I know *I'm* wiped.)

Also Tidus has posted all of 2 times today. The first post was to say he didn't feel like he had any purpose in the conversation which is.. ???

He voted Scare and said he didn't sus MZero. Then he flavor metaed Scare and that was it.

It's been kind of a struggle coming up with things to say as this has dragged on, but I'd like another tangible thought or two here.

This is... Quite literally identical to the claim Chris made 11 hours ago.

Like, Isquen just claimed motion detector that targeted Plum night 1.

The only Ninja I've ever heard of is untrackable/unwatchable scum.

If you have a virtually identical claim to Chris, how do you not immediately counter?

Side note: You didn't mention a night 2 action.

Night 2 should be obvious. I visited Mike to see if anyone would try to go after them. I saw a visitor, but nobody died.

Which is why I still suspect Chris, FYI. They're claiming another lookout role, and need I remind via flavor text that Lahabrea was possessing him in ARR. And Lahabrea was one of the unsundered Ascians.

Could he be good Thancred with Pure Aether? Yes. Could he be evil Thancred with Lahabrea inside, still having pure aether? Also yes. Could there be two townies with a surveillance role? Doubt. Could be Chris covering plum and they're both scum? Still a possibility. I realize I have no way of confirming myself short of dying, and I get why it's still fishy as hell.

Absolutely there can be two surveillance-type roles.

But it's extremely rare to see identical roles exist, because it's also highly frowned upon. If I were the role you're claiming, I would've gone after Chris' head immediately.

There are some other relevant parts of the flavor I've cut out to someone I'm not sure of if they're in the game yet, and if I visit a certain person by mistake, I die. I rolled the dice night one, and knew I was safe (unless targeted) night two.

If I role-blocked you night 1, Mike wouldn'tve been able to aether scan night 2, as he claimed.

One thing I have to add though: If Isquen is scum, I have no idea why scum Isquen would think this is at all a good way to claim what he just claimed.

He seems smarter than this.

I mean I can come up with a convoluted explanation of how isquen is town and chris is scum, but I don't think that is Occulams razor

Also, I'm noticing something, Crescent; you didn't vote in either day at all beyond one on me on day 1. Does your power role involve a one-use nuclear button if you think someone's going to get mislynched with the downside of not being able to vote normally (hence the removal of my sus vote day 1, if you got called out/warned about it?)

Or am I overthinking, again?

Not going to give you a direct answer, but there's a pretty simple reason why I haven't had a vote down for these last two days.

I set up day 2 to come home from work much earlier (hence the 7am shift), read the situation, rest, and then be ready for the last 3-4 hours of the day. Then those clowns Red and Scare decided to early hammer zzzzzz.

I had no reason to vote today. Scare was at 3 in a flash, and it didn't take him long to reach 4 (which is -1). Given how triggerhappy people are with votes on days like this, I almost never place one, because I have the wherewithall not to "oops" hammer and I don't trust others to. You seem to have been unaware that Scare had been -1 for ~20 hours, yourself, given your immediate unvote when I pointed it out.

I'm not sure what would have indicated I was upset with that. If anything, you justified exactly why I don't vote on days like this.
