Kanji is in the second school building. You have to go through one of the side-exits in the main building.

I thought about that on my playthrough, but couldn't do that to Kanji.

I feel like Chie's kit is severely lacking compared to other party members. Teddie in contrast gets to have his cake and eat it too, getting auto tarukaja, mediarama and mabufula basically as soon as you lock him.

A late social link unlock skill for Chie is literally... Bufula.

Yeah but in practice so far that means she needs a set up turn to have a good chance of a knock down meanwhile Rebellion also increases the crit rate of enemies. And it doesn't change the fact that she just flat out has the worst support skills, only getting single tarukaja and no healing or multi-ailments

Just had my second crash this time in the lab

Sucks the game is crashing so much for you. Never had one happen to me in my playthrough.

Once you get Teddie, I think he is intended to be the ice user of the group while Chie is supposed to become more a physical fighter since she doesn't learn high powered ice moves.

Party balance is broken though. Yukiko is abusrdly broken compared to all other party members (besides the protagonist of course, who is supposed to be overpowered by game design).

You need max Understanding to tutor but interactions during it can raise your Understanding stat

Persona would be cooler if they summoned them in the normal world and did dumb stuff with them like Jojo

Persona 1 and 2 then well sort of anyway..

Chie and Kanji are the physical fighters of the group.

He is tankier and does higher single target damage, she is faster and has more aoe attacks and crits. Her ice spells are just to help with knockdowns, but she can learn Bufudyne if you go on 5 bike rides with her. If you want to spend that many days on one spell for her.

Generally, Kanji is better for boss fights and Chie is better for trash mobs. Chie also has a better ultimate spell, Dragon Hustle, compared to Kanji's The Man's Way.

Teddie is a strong support character, between his heals and buffs. He would work well with Yosuke, because Teddies learns Matarukaja and Marakukaja and Yosukr learns Masukukaja. Alternatively, Kanji also gets Matarukaja.

For party member builds and the Auto-Suku/Taru/Raku-kaja abilities, you could disregard them if you want to just make a Persona for Yu with all three Auto-Ma- versions of them. Then you just make sure you start the fight with Yu having that Persona active. Get all three buffs on the whole party from one Persona.
