They didn't bother me much in the past, when they were a couple of simple gifs or pngs that linked directly to the advertisers' website. Theres no true workaround that exists that doesnt have me missing a stream for 30 seconds or whatever. When I go to a wiki for info about monster drops in a game I dont need 3 simotaneous audio ads playing with 2 pop up ads fighting to block the text I'm trying to read with the tiniest x to close that can't detect where I'm pushing it and forces me to their unsafe website that's even more ad infested. It's ridiculous. If sites want me to experience their ads they need to make standards for them with massive fines if they are violated.
