but it would suck if we get invaded by cheaters. Regular players I can handle of course

well that bodes well for elden ring, since apparently it uses the same vulnerable systems.

It's a tough road to journey, but you can get to the ending areas and receive the best spells and gear while staying at a low level.

Those that do this, come back to the beginning of the game and terrorize others. :D

It's not cheating, and the ones that try exploits, there's very good chances they will be permanently banned forever.

Oh wow.

I had no idea it was that serious of a concern.

I heard only one person was able to do something weird with the game.

As far as I know nothing malicious has been done with it yet, the guy that showed off the exploit did so to bring attention to the issue since Bandai Namco neglected to address it for years after he had emailed their support about it.

But the potential for people to do very malicious stuff with it is there

The remaster looks worse imo, im still salty that we cant buy the original anymore.

yeah I know I have like 500 hours on the game when it launched. So I know the ins and outs of the entire game. Getting late game gear early on definitely isnt new to me

im just curious what the cheater situation is like since PC games often have a cheater problem

the Remastered version allows you to set a 'network password' so only people with that password can join your game.
