Sony's market cap can't handle major acquisitions like Microsoft's can. Hell, Sony overpaid so much for Bungie that they have to keep them multiplatform whereas Bethesda and Activision-Blizzard games will be exclusive to the Microsoft family. helIy 01/31/22 11:02:35 PM #2:	i'm not even entirely sure why sony would even want bungie honestly, given that, apparently, bungie is just...staying independent? like they're, on paper, not changing anything or making anything exclusive to playstation in destiny, or anything new they might make or release in the future. obviously that isn't going to actually be the case, sure, but on paper, where's the benefit to sony? like bungie tried to sell themselves to microsoft first like two years ago, and microsoft turned them down because bungie wanted too much, and then this happened, which incidentally, is apparently less than what they tried to get off of microsoft? --- and you know what they say about a guy with big shoes insecurities and self esteem issues <cite>helIy posted [p:962259423] in Sony buyin...
