I'll say though that Nintendo is the only company I would ever give a shit for anymore as well. Just like no one buys Blu-ray players anymore, gaming is going digital and in some cases even cloud-based (which I hate, but whatever). It's less about the console and more about the platform, and never has that become more apparent than with game pass. If you buy game pass, pretty much every game is playable even on the launch Xbox One. The newer platforms just make the games look and run better. But at some point I suspect everything's going to be digital, and the power of the system won't matter anymore. I remember Sony boasting about how the PS3 got Blu-ray disc into the home instead of HD DVD. And yet, by the end of that generation, nobody bought movie discs.
