Bozja replaces the role of deep dungeon for level 71-80, though I am unaware what the exp yields are like

Stormblood battle leves are either in Rhalgrs Reach or Kugane.

If you can stand the tedium, Palace of the Dead to level 60, then Heaven on High to 71, then Bozja and Zadnor to level 82 or 83.

If you have a healer/tank friend or are a tank/healer, regular dungeon spam is faster for leveling.

You can also change your duty finder settings to prioritize leveling dungeons within 10 levels of you to try for better exp. It wont guarantee it, but itll try to put you in that range.

Kugane doesn't have battle leves, only the noncombat ones

Spent all of my tomestones from the Omega trials buying the 370 gearset because I wanted to be a badass samurai looking dragoon knowing once I get to Shadowbringers all of it will get replaced and I could use it for glamors, only to get the full set as a quest reward...

FYI in case nobody else has seen it yet, they announced that starting March 22nd you'll be able to officially link your steam account to your FFXIV account, which presumably means having single-sign-on capabilities. For now it's still going to open the FFXIV launcher (although hopefully you'll already be signed in), but if this is a first step to being able to just launch the game itself through steam then that's good news.

there is no point at which a stupid dps will not run ahead of the tank, even if the tank is speedrunning. what people like you don't know is that park it and kill it is faster than drag it to the wall. watch videos, be less obnoxious. thanks.

Ah, sounds like that'd just purposefully slow down the whole operation. Esp if it's a new player as DPS/Healer who doesn't know how aggro works yet.

week 4 of full savage reclears and the only fight i like is p4s

this tier was ass and there's no content until 6.1

it's easy to spot inept. it's even easier to spot impatient prima donna.

not every tank is actually good at setting up pulls, either. it's annoying to me because i am. it's annoying on principle because they need you to not make it any harder than it has to be. the faster they get the idea of herding enemies up into a big dumb clump fluidly and quickly the better. don't get in the way of that.

As someone who has a secondary class as a tank it pisses me off when someone else keeps pulling.

Let me go at my own pace.

If it annoys you, you can kindly ask the dps to stop pulling. Letting the dps die benefits nobody. But it's hilarious when the tank pouts and the dungeon goes successfully anyway.

Got my Bard to Lv80; the Bozja grind really is helpful, and less tedious than spamming dungeons. But doing this for days on end is really wearing thin.

Once it's at Lv90, I'm debating going back to raise up my Paladin next so I can access the Tank Role Quests, but man...Paladin's pretty boring, esp its storyline. Might try Gunbreaker. Though, I hear the Dark Knight storyline is pretty good.

I found that Dark Knight is completely unfun to play up until 68 but I liked the story. All of its ogcds are on cooldown forever. Salted Earth is 90s for no reason when Circle of Scorn is 30s and Living Dead is garbage.

its still funny that it does the best DPS of all the tanks lol

Lol, wall2wall is objectively faster bro. AoE doesn't get penalized on higher Target counts.

Tbf the whole idea that the tank sets the pace/is responsible for pulling is nonsense. Tanks exist only to soak damage, really don't understand why people fetishize them to be the de facto leader and setting the groups pace.

Turned in my first Wondrous Tails to Khloe. Never felt like doing them before, until I saw how much EXP you get.

Can you really do an entire journal once per day and turn it in? Seems like something that would be restricted to one journal per week like most other things.

It's one journal a week. You turn it in but you won't get a new one until the reset next Tuesday.

Whenever Im tanking a raid or trial, and a DPS or healer pulls the boss asap, I have a bad habit of forgetting to toggle my tank stance, or I forget I already toggled it on and end up turning it off somehow

^Yeah, that happened to me once too. Don't even remember clicking it off, but at some point another player was like "Tank stance!" and I went oh shit lol

Yea boyyy, got my Bard to Lv90. Only took me a week.
