Socially liberal and economically conservative, I'd think.

*edit* That's essentially a libertarian, right?

It does kind of annoy me that they never address the elephant in the room.

But, yeah. Cap would is definitely pro-LGBT, pro-equality, etc. It would be amusing if he was anti-pot, anti-profanity, etc. We do know that movie Cap doesn't like women wearing nose rings.

Libertarians pretty much just want corporate to run every aspect of their lives except for the age of consent.

Alright, I literally just finished the show like two days ago and I'm gonna have to drop a "fucking seruously?" at this, sorry :(
The show deals with racism for so little out of the entire 6 episode runtime, I'm actually surprised they didn't make it a bigger deal.

Anyways, what I loved about Falcon/Winter Soldier was near the end when Bucky straight up says that neither he nor Cap really thought about any racial implications when Steve passed the shield/mantle onto Sam, because they were both from a different time. It didn't say they were racist, but it also didn't say that they magically were paragons of race equality.

Or maybe I'm talking out my ass, who knows. Again, I just finished the show so I wanted to say something about it.

No, it's fine to disagree with me. I just thought that the particular bits about racism were a bit much for a 6 episode series, and they only even grazed the subject. Meanwhile it felt like Bucky was tacked on except for his stuff near the beginning and end, it didn't feel like he was really needed in the series. He needed
more focus for a show based around Falcon AND THE WINTER SOLDIER part, you know what I mean?

I would have appreciated it more if Bucky got more screen time and the writers explored him more, rather than focusing so heavily on their chosen subject.

Personal feelings, and everyone is free to disagree, I just feel like they could have done more. Or at least make the series 8 episodes or something.

Captain America is a man who believes in the ideals America was founded on, not the reality of it. So he was for equal rights for everyone back in the 40s before it was even a movement.

Even when we can't hold up to them like say, institutionalized racism, Cap was always against that kind of shit. He's a man who can change, he had to adapt to survive when he unfroze.
