I like the MCU spidey a lot and I even like the Tobey McGuire spidey a lot but No Way Home was def a little messy. I think people are holding it up to way too high esteem.

Im wondering if the whole excitement about going back to the movie theater (lol) thing is affecting peoples opinions on the movie itself.

into the spider verse did a way better job at telling basically the same story and did it like 5 years before No Way Home, just saying.

NWH was more serious and had more far-reaching implications IMO. And definitely had a more downer ending than ITSV.

I probably shouldnt care that much, but I just like seeing original stories, and this was basically the same story from the same people about the same character

both movies are really good though. I might change my mind after a second watch of NWH, and it definitely deserves it, but thatll probably be in my house sometime in a year or so

but Id probably still put NWH third after those 2. Also Homecoming and FFH from in the top 5 as well
