At least one of my local theaters (Cinemark) still had showings for Dune with Subtitles on screen.

Also if you see CC on a showing that doesn't explicitly state on-screen subtitles, I've heard you can ask customer service and they should be able to furnish you with a device that sits in a cup holder that has an arm and screen that you can adjust to your liking, that is synced to the movie.

That's why i saw it in theaters, specifically in IMAX. it's a very visual-heavy film and i know how Velleneuvue likes to use scale in his shots.
