Not surprising though, as many people who get married do it for the sake of tradition, so naturally that has to include all the stereotypical little things, like the garter. We also took it a step further and did the extended tradition of having the guy who catches the garter belt put it on the girl who catches the bouquet. According to tradition, the higher up they put it, the happier the marriage will be.
