Very much this.

The lack of self-awareness in the article is astounding. She lists one of the problems being that he can't see that he is a common factor in all the issues, while not being aware that she is a common factor herself.

Don't get me wrong, there's no shortage of man children out there, but if I was in the early stages of a relationship with somebody and found they had written this about an ex, I would be having pretty big reservations about their suitability as a partner.

Honestly, I agree with 90% of what was in the article. It's mostly about dudes who can't get their life or their shit together and can't figure out how to engage with a partner, but of course the remaining 10% is "he enjoys certain hobbies that let him chill out and I hate that".

Not sure how to feel about this, like I agree with her points for the most part but I also think that all those points can be applied to both sexes though.

Now it got me thinking, I know it has the word "Man" on it but can a woman be a "Man Child" as well? There's definitely women out there that fits the bill.... and "Woman Child" just doesn't roll off the tongue as well as "Man Child" tbh >_>

Men are more likely to suicide than women. We have less support networks. Society doesn't care as much. Generally speaking people cry or insult you if you cry as a man.

Honestly I don't really see anything wrong with the article or what the writer said. If you're in a relationship and have all those traits/do all those things you probably need to shape up. Contrary to popular Internet belief, watching porn, smoking weed, and playing games all day aren't really healthy behaviors and are probably especially bad if you have a family or something.

If you're single though feel free to do whatever the hell you want.
