I mean, people keep citing Rittenhouse supposedly possessing an illegal gun (which he didn't) and bringing it across state lines (which he didn't) as reason for why he was supposed to just allow himself to be killed so apparently even the slightest alleged criminal activity, even if not true, is worthy of death to some people.

Rittenhouse is white, overweight, and have a punchable face. You bet your ass that's enough for alot of people to base their judgement off of. They may not know alot of the details, or not know it at all, they just see a picture of him on whichever social media they frequent, and that's enough to jump on the bandwagon. And that's a fact.

How exactly after, like, the third, or even fourth conviction, does nobody think to say, "hey, I don't think this guy is showing any signs of changing?"

How does that happen? Or is it one of those things where it was only one incident but he was convicted five times at the same time? The wording makes it seem like he got convicted, did his time, got out, got convicted again, did his time, got out, etc. five separate times. That seems like lunacy

Reading up on it, it sounds like the crimes all happened during the same time period and it came out all at once. He was staying with an acquaintance and had contact with her sons (the 5 victims) over a period of time before she noticed something was wrong (the first sign was a cigarette burn on one of her sons).

But yes, Black Lives Matter support thrives on delivering a narrative to rile up the masses using very suspect cases that seem incredibly egregious and racist until you dive into the facts to see it was a much more nuanced situation that puts the perpetrator's actions in a more reasonable light. This is what has been happening since Trayvon Martin's story and why they completely ignored Eric Garner's case even though that was a clear cut case of police abuse. The ultimate goal is to divide the nation and deny any chance of Occupy Wall Street from ever coming back into the limelight so that no one is able to rally together to fight against the American Dream becoming an impossible dream for more and more people.

What bothers me about this aspect isn't that it was legal to carry to Wisconsin. It's that as an Illinois resident, he was not legally able to buy one. So he gave money to a friend to buy it for him and gave it to him when they met up later.

• The dumpster was not a bomb being pushed toward the gas station and even if it was the pumps were off.
• The police were not told to stand down. There werent enough cops to respond to incidents of property damage.
• Its doubtful Jump Kick Man was trying to use lethal force.
• Kyle actually blocked one skateboard hit with his arm.

In a phone interview with the Washington Post, Rittenhouse revealed the gun he used in the shooting was purchased using money he received from an unemployment check during the coronavirus pandemic. Rittenhouse, 17, could not legally purchase the weapon himself, so he gave the money to a friend to buy it for him, according to both Rittenhouse and police reports.

"I got my $1,200 from the coronavirus Illinois unemployment, because I was on furlough from YMCA, and I got my first unemployment check so I was like, 'Oh I'll use this to buy it,'" he told the Post.
