It's the opposite for me. I love the speed of Halo compared to games like COD. If you wanted to win a 1 v 1 shootout, you really needed to be able to nail your headshots. It felt great to out headshot people lol

The multiplayer's technically in beta, though? And it's free? And I don't know of any Halo fan who's ONLY excited about the campaign. And even if they were, nothing's changed for them, the single player hasn't been delayed.

It looks like ranked will allow you to filter by input device. I don't know if that's a thing you can do in the social playlists though.

Core game-play is solid, but it takes forever waiting for other people to load and then it wastes time with showing off the map and doing lame intros for everyone on your team. FFS, just let the game start right away after the long loading times.

Finally got to play some BTB with my friends

Four of us starting the match by grabbing fusion coils to chuck at their Warthog will never get old

I'm enjoying the gameplay so far. So many new guns that are tough to get used to, but it seems like a really nice weapon sandbox. More than three BTB maps would have been nice though, but I guess it's going to be like Halo 5 with a somewhat barebones launch.

The progression system is hot garbage and I'd prefer if there was none of this Battle Pass nonsense. Seems like a way to needlessly complicate games these days. I guess that's the trade-off for it being free though. It's certainly rather lame seeing every player wearing the same armor at the moment.

There's also a training mode which is just the player and bots. You can customize the number of bots on either team, what weapons you spawn with, and some other stuff.

Fun so far! I like that it has a lot more personality to it, something Halo had always kinda lacked.

BR is same as always, though feels even less accurate than it used to be. Pistol feels like butter though.

Pistol seems very good, perhaps op, especially with the broken aim assist a controller gives you.

Ended up enjoying it a lot more than I thought. Had little to no interest in this game, It'll probably be a day one buy for me for the campaign now.

It's pretty good so far.

Haven't played Halo Multiplayer since Reach; I hate getting knocked out of zoon when getting shot at, though I suppose that's intentional gameplay.

The battle passes arent timed at least. You keep them forever and can work on which ever one you want whenever you want
