TC, Apsaras (sp?) Vs Leanne Siddhe (sp?)

Whoever you side with will join your party. As I recall it, Apsaras helped me a pretty good deal throughout the rest of that area due to her ice abilities. I don't remember Leanne Siddhe's full move list, but I don't expect she'd be as useful for the first area. It's very possible Leanne is a more difficult fight though, I think I had to hold off a little before taking her on.

In terms of RP, Apsaras seems law-aligned while Leanne is chaos-aligned. Not sure how much if at all it weighs on your alignment since I'm not sure how alignment works out in this game.

Those Nvidia leaks combined with data mining suggest it is coming to PC. There will likely also be a PS4 port.

I just want everyone to know that I lost 14 demons to the Black Rider boss fight. At the end of the fight, I said fuck it and tried to solo Black Rider and his two Legions all whom had maximum attack buffs.

Barely won that fight. I am so lucky Black Rider decided to spam Glacial Blast so I could absorb and get rid of his press turns. If he had used his Almighty attack, it would have been over. Hardest boss fight in the game for me so far easily. Im not going even going to attempt Pale Rider for a while. Ill save him for later.

LITERALLY singlehandedly give Bethel the victory by slaying 3 high-ranking demons by myself and she's like "Nah, you're an abomination tho. You should die." and attacks me. Still haven't beaten her boss fight yet.

She's still hot tho and I would still shove my Mara in her even after all that >_>

Me too! Its been hard to find time to play, but they really did a good job with this game! I found that changing random encounters to roaming monsters design was my favorite improvement! Its a lot of fun to explore now and fight enemies when I feel like it or I know I can wipe a certain monster easily for easy exp.

I agree. The game focuses on exploration so much that having random encounters would be a net drag on the gameplay. I love that demons that are too weak will run away from you. I don't want to deal with fodder unless I have to. I'm also a big fan of sliding XP scales relative to your own level. Just great gameplay improvements.

I beat 2 of the gods in Area 4, but Zeus is giving me a really hard time >_> I think I'm gonna take a break from him and do some sidequests.

What I did was make a Rangda.

A lv69 Lilith and a lv68 Skadi let me pass on null ice and electricity, then I gave it fierce roar so he'd just waste turns attack it (as long as he didn't use aoe attacks)

Theres a method to beating him but youll have to retry his fight a few times. Pay close attention to his A.I. and how it operates. Thats the key to winning that fight assuming you can tank his attacks well enough and if you have good enough demons.

i got Eligor's essence (Dark Sword and Blight) but my skill slots are full:

Aramasa
Sakanagi
Fang Breaker
Bloody Glee
Restore

Really hard decision whether I should give up any of these skills. Aramasa has a very high crit rate, Sakanagi is good against phy resist, and Fang Breaker's utility is too useful against bosses

Aramasa does get replaced with a better skill later. But I would get rid of restore or bloody glee. I rarely ever got any benefit from them >_> And bloody glee never felt like it helped that much for crits for me when I tried it

Lit, I hated p5 lmao

same. SMT5 is fun for me because there's very little "downtime" in gameplay. P5 has too much dialogue and day-management, and FF7R was filled with a lot of padding to slow down your progression. Even with that said, SMT5's battle system is very satisfying and there's lots of skills to play with

Well I finished the game.

Looking back on the whole thing, the story is pretty thin and disjointed, there must've been a ton of rewrites or something. Great gameplay and worlds though.

imo I think the Shiva snake is the easiest in the south east, then Odin in the south west, and finally Zeus in the north west

I dropped the magic on my phys MC and it's only made him stronger. I'm running:
Wrath Tempest
Murakumo
Critical Aura
Almighty Pleroma
Phys Pleroma
High Phys Pleroma
Critical Zealot
High Restore

With this, even before getting buffed/hitting a debuffed enemy a critical Murakumo does 1400-1600 damage and Wrath Tempest does a bit more. When other buffs are added? It's fucking crazy how fast I kill bosses.
