Im honestly surprised they are as popular to have as they are. First off they are just plain annoying with how they incessantly bark at anyone and anything to the point where you have to yell at them to shut up. Second theyre just plain gross. Pissing and shitting all over the house, dog hair and dirt everywhere, chewed up carpet and baseboards, who the hell actually wants something that does that? Last off you have to freedom. Constantly having to let the thing out and feed it. Your life basically revolves around taking care of the stupid thing to the point where going out for a weekend or staying overnight anywhere cant be done unless you accommodate for it. I guess if you want some gross annoying creature that you have to focus your whole schedule around thats your own prerogative but I just dont get it.

• Not all dogs bark a lot
• Trained dogs won't piss and shit all over the house unless desperate. Hair and dirt is no different to humans. Keep the pet clean and groomed.
• A well trained dog won't wreak your home.
• Taking the pet on walks with your is both good for you and the dog
• Feeding a pet isn't difficult

You're asking why people have pets. I'm more of a cat person but dogs, like any other pet are rewarding and don't take much to look after in most cases.

I don't find dogs annoying or stupid. I like them, but they are a lot of work and money. I just don't know how so many people have the time and energy to take care of one. However, I understand that everyone is different, and I'm a wimp, so I'm not saying they are wrong or doing something bad. Instead, I have hamsters for pets.

you are probably confusing a purse dog with an actual real dog.

purse dog is really part of the rodent family, somewhere lower than a sewer rat on the rodent totem poll. Purse dogs are the worst kind of vermin.

a real dog comes at least up to the knee of an average sized human when fully grown.

If they get cold they'll grow an fluffy undercoat which will shed come the spring, but it's like wool and comes out in clumps, not loose hair. I doubt they'd grow much of a winter coat if they were indoors most of the time.

They would probably grow too large. One that is a little bigger than the original one you posted permanently would be a perfect pet. I bet the dog would be terrified.

Cats are better. They're clean, tidy, don't piss on everything in the house like our current dog does. Use a designated area for the bathroom. Only issue is they do leave hair around.

You guys ever see that video of the kid in the super-market taking a shit in his pants? Then he plops the shit onto the ground through his pantleg with a quick flick of the ankle and just walks away like a madlad.

Then some guy wearing flip-flops comes by and steps in it.
