26 y/o Canadian NBA Player Andrew Wiggins, the Golden State Warriors forward has finally caved and got the COVID-19 vaccine after he was denied relgious exemption from getting it!!

He will now be eligible to play in home games after running the risk of losing 9 million smackers in salary

Warriors coach Steve Kerr made the announcement to reporters after practice

He faced the possibility of not being allowed inside the home buildings at Chase Centre for games on October 13 when the San Francisco Dept of Public Health begins requiring proof of vaccination for large indoor events

The NBA said last week for players who missed games due to local vaccine mandates would forfeit their slary and Wiggins couldn't stand to lose those millions

Last Monday, he said he would stick to his guns and his beliefs in God regarding teh vaccine stated "Back is definitely against the wall, but i'm just going to keep fighting for what i believe in. I'm going to keep fighting for what i believe is right. What's right to one person isn't right to the other and vice versa"

The NBA reviewed and denied his exemption and would not pay him if he missed those games and until he fulfilled the vaccine mandate. Anyone 12 or older must show proof of vaccination to attend indoor events and Wiggins declined to explain what those beliefs are that would entail and he said "It's none of yoru business. That's what it comes down to. It's my problem, not yours"

His vaccination status has been one of the biggest preseason topics in NBA circles and making headlines where vacinated Draymond Green REFUSED to push the teammate to get teh shot stating Wiggins was making a personal decision about his health and says it becomes political and it shouldn't be thsi way to take people's rights away and this goes against everything America stands for. Lebron James who also was vaccinated AGREED wit him who said couldn't have said it better
