i've been scrubbing these pots and cups like my life depends on it... cuz in my head it does. My 2nd housing inspection is tomorrow (the 30th, it's late) and the summary from the first one had a lot of negative notes on it which made me very sads

I basically threw my living room into the dumpster and mopped the floor into oblivion.

Sorry this stresses you out so much dude. Did they give you a copy of the notes, or some guidelines, or something to show where you could improve? I would focus on one point at a time and try not to let the entire list overwhelm me. Just block out the list and go point-by-point.

Could help to rewrite the list in a way that's more manageable to you. Prioritize it in an order that makes sense to you, either by grouping easier tasks at the top that you feel you can complete quickly, or group the things you feel will score bigger points with the review board at the top.

I dunno how to help man sorry, but those are some suggestions

They did give me a copy of the notes, and weirdly the notes said "attached are some guildeines" but it didn't come with any attachments

Make sure you mention that when they come through. Show them, if you still have the notes. Say you did the best you could without having the guidelines to go off of.

Don't be afraid to speak up for yourself, Lok. Dealing with officials can be stressful but at the end of the day, they're just people doing a job and many of them will be sympathetic if you explain things to them calmly and rationally. Don't sweat it dude it's gonna work out

Vacuum/sweep the floor, get some pinesol, mop, wipe flat surfaces, clean ceiling fans, wipe down light fixtures and rinse out your trash bin with it, windex your windows, gently bleach your bathroom and toilet, organize anything on the floor and immediately rinse off any dishes after use and let them air dry to avoid a mess

If you have a large A/C unit, you could check and maybe replace the air filter

It went really well, landlord said I did a good job and I apologized for last time (even though I don't know what what) and she even said "that's ok, we all have our bad days"
