Best to leave on a high note then overstay your welcome. Yeah I am like that with most shows, but with Mr Bean mostly being skit comedy I felt it could probably been okay with a few more episodes. But I feel you, there's a few shows that I feel were definitely devalued because it went on. Blackadder - which is regularly voted the #2 British sitcom/comedy in history whenever the British vote in TV polls - was a 4 season show, where each season consisted of 6 episodes, and each season was technically about a completely different character, set in a completely different time period, and with stories that were designed to fit the period (meaning each season has a different style/tone). In a way, it's almost like four separate but related shows. Oh, and it also had a Christmas special parodying A Christmas Carol.
