I think Link could easily beat Bowser.

Mario can pretty much beat anything if he puts his mind to it. Meanwhile there's nothing equivalent to the starman or the white leaf or the red star in LoZ. I guess the closest thing is the Fierce Deity's Mask

Ganon(dorf) consistently loses to a dude (or child) with medieval weapons.
Mario has faced bigger, stronger, and equally magically enemies and came out on top. Why people think Mario would have trouble is odd. Im assuming Mario will have Links allies too?
