can anyone tell me what updog is? the millennials are taunting me with updog

on a serious note: anyone feel like they have 1000x more confidence tanking in mmos while drunk even when you know your performance is impaired because tanking is easy and most tanks in roulette play like they're worse than drunk

Yeah for the longest time I had a rule that if I couldn't get drunk for under 8 bucks it wasn't worth it. 2 4 lokos does the trick and that's under 6. But I've switched to evan willaims whiskey. 26 dollars a bottle but it lasts a little over 7 sessions of getting drunk. Then again in using mikes hard seltzer as a chaser and that's like 14 bucks a 12 pack.

half the time i get mine from walmart honestly

it's like ten percent cheaper than the actual liquor store around here

dealing with the walmart crowd is not always worth that margin tho....

Well I started off with Jack. Evan williams being half the price and 3% more alcohol convinced me. Well that day came down to they didnt have the big bottles of Jack and the smaller bottles feel like a rip off on price. Bought a big bottle of Evan and ended up not lookinh back. Oneday got one that came with a sample bottle of Apple and while its weaker and costs about the same I can actually drink it straight.

round here till very recently (past 3-5 years) you couldn't buy any alcohol period on a sunday

I get a mouth full of either mikes hard seltzer or just flavored sparkling water and drop a double shot in on top of it and swallow. I cant drink whiskey straight like I could as a teen.

I have a novelty shot glass that has 3 lines. Bottom one is barely a sip and is labeled yellow bellied yank. 2nd line is 1 shot and labeled southern belle. 3rd line is a double shot and labeled rebel.

I used to be in the "southern Heritage" camp. Literally had family memembers fight for them (never owned slaves too poor) I just got tired of trying to defend it. Wasnt worth the head ache.

Brothers wife bought me the shot glass as a christmas present. She used to work at a Gettysburg gift shop.

And yeah I thought the same thing on the belle thing. It has the odd ability to make you wanna go for rebel though. Which ive done once straight just to say I could. But I tend to stick to what I said earlier with the mouth full of hard seltzer.

As said for me it was my family dates back to that time frame on one side of my family. Living down here in the south. I was of the mindset they where on the wrong side but its not like america as a whole wasnt racist as fuck, the North just progressed a little quicker. From my perspective the south has caught up to a degree. If people are super racist around my parts they sure keep it to themselves.
I dont live in the deep South though so Idk. But ive always felt people have a right to have pride in heritage even if thwir is some stains on its history. The South has made some great things otherwise. Like a yankee co worker of mine. Bashes southern food for being unhealthy but says it way better tasting.

My step father. A Yankee swears racism is just as much a thing up north as it is down south.

That usually happens with anything. I remember when Vanilla Coke first came out and I had it. It was a one time taste for me only for some reason and it just started tasting like regular Coke after that.
