I use a local ISP and for some reason I just got worried about privacy of them looking at my internet usage, so I am considering a VPN.
Anybody got a rec?

Mr Hangman posted...
Remember that whatever you're worried your ISP might do, a VPN provider could easily do the same. Unlike an ISP, a VPN might have a financial incentive to maintain a good reputation for protecting their users privacy, so there's that. But also consider that they end up concentrating the traffic of people whose traffic might be more interesting or valuable. They can be useful in some situations, but probably not a good use of money if your only reason is "I dunno, more privacy, I guess?" with no specific concept of what privacy you're talking about.
I don't want the guy in town who owns the company to know what I am looking at.
I'm not breaking laws or anything.
