Like, the ones who buy the shitty $3 tubs of store brand ice cream. If you're eating it multiple times a week, you're already doing it wrong, but if you're only eating it once in a while like you should, and subjecting yourself to shitty horrible cheap icecream vs a superpremium brand like ben and jerrys or haagen daz it's like getting mcdonalds as a treat when there's a 5 guys right next door

Now, if you have kids, I can understand, because fuck it, they're kids they'll eat anything

The difference in cost to where it would impact your food budget in a meaningful way would only come into the picture if you're eating a massive amount of ice cream. If you're having it a couple times a month vs every day, for example.

If you're eating ice cream like 2-3 times a week, you have bigger problems.

Haagen Dazs is nearly triple the cost on a per ounce basis compared to Breyers. I wouldn't call that a minor cost difference.

it really is, I suggest doing a side by side taste test of a haagan daz vanilla and a store brand, it's astounding not only from a taste perspective, but from the texture and overall quality of product. Again, it's like comparing a double cheeseburger from mcdonalds to a 5 guys cheeseburger
