Most people here probably don't know what Kiwi Farms is. It's a site where they find personal info of mostly LGBT people and women, then harass them and their families until they commit suicide.

I remember this guy. I learned of him because he wound up at a convention I was at a few years ago.

He was laying on the floor moaning and throwing a tantrum in the middle of a zillion people at the entrance because something wasn't going his way. The security had no idea what to do with him.

Then I learned of everything else he was doing and that he was like legit (R-Word redacted).

This is wild, horrifying, and awful. But kinda on-brand for him

I dont exactly recall when I first heard about Chris Chan. Possibly from Something Awful when Tails Gets Trolled got started and people compared it to Sonichu comics..
But I dont think you have to be a visitor of bad places like Kiwifarms to know about him. Plus Down the Rabbit Hole did a very good video about him.

I guess its a pleasant surprise to see so many people in the dark tho.

Also this is terrible, and I am glad he got arrested and that she is away from him now.

Chris got away with a lot for a long time, and never had any guidance to stop bad behavior. This wasnt inevitable, and the decline could have been prevented.

The thing with Chris Chan's trans identity, from what I understand of it, is that Chris wanted to identify as a female because they were obsessed with finding a girlfriend and decided that if they identified as a female that they wouldn't have to compete with men anymore because they had a thought in their head that all women seem to have boyfriends.

So make of that knowledge what you will.

I should also add that Chris Chan has been extremely homophobic in the past and has said many disparaging remarks about gay males, but doesn't see anything wrong with gay females.

So there's also that to consider.

a lot of autistic people self-diagnose themselves as trans. I think it's because they're more likely to see things in rigid, logical terms. something along the lines of "I like girls' toys so I must be a girl"

With Chris, I recall he liked MLP and was terrified that made him gay. He was calling himself a "tomgirl" (opposite of tomboy). I don't remember how the transition happened but I believe some of the trolls told him he could be a woman and a lesbian
