I don't understand how adults are incapable of understanding basic math or grammar but I've generally learned to just accept they exist and not make a big deal out of it. For me, the struggle is social anxiety and while I know that a lot of stuff that sounds easy to some comes across as irrationally hard to me, I know it's just like me being like "how can someone get a 10% tip wrong with a calculator"

I'm saying that to just toss out a blanket statement like, "You're a virgin cause you don't go out to parties" is really not good advice. A lot of people have social anxiety, a lot of people don't have the desire to go out to a party, etc.

Virginity isn't anything to be ashamed about in the first place, but this "advice" is as helpful as "Why don't you just go out and get a hooker?" People who have social anxiety realize what their issue is but this is tantamount to just telling them to suck it up.

I can do math, I use good grammar, and I'm good at socializing. I go to the gym, and I trade on the stock and crypto market. You just have to build up your skills.

I used to have a bunch of friends, hang out in the afternoon, visit peoples' houses, etc. and intimate activity was never on the table. Yo, real talk. This is the best post Ive read here in a while. You really made me feel more secured with being socially awkward in some situations. Because I know I was confused when some of my friends had to pull out a calculator when a child asked us 10x100.
