Also, someone else reminded me of something. Doesn't any injury that someone is being charged for have to happen within a year and a day of the incident that supposedly caused it? I'm not near as certain on this, but I do remember that from classes.

'within a year and a day' sounds like old english common law. stuff like that gets contested all the time.

just looking up similar cases i've found a few where charges were filed years after the original crime. this one is closest.

I'm ok with this. Definitely unique situation but really the only question would be whether they can prove she was directly responsible. Double jeopardy has no bearing since this isn't the same charge

People used to think I was gunplas alt now they think Im newhorrors alt? Lmao

It's part of being a new account here. People thought I was (insert just about any notorious user you can name)'s alt at first here, even though at the time this was my only account - I have an alt (of the gimmick kind, not the warn-bypass kind - still haven't been warned yet on this account lol) now though.

Once in a while I still seem to get tagged in topics I haven't even participated in by some guy making claims about whose alt I am.

There's the answer. In a case where police would have charged them with the more serious crime, but couldn't, they can charge what they can.
