PLvsAA was amazing up until the final case. Only the final case floundered a bit. The golden case is one of the top 5 cases in the series for me. And yeah, AAI2 and AA6 are top tier. The weakest AA games are AJ and AAI1. If you got through AJ you should be able to enjoy the others.

I played Investigations 1 when it came out and I completely forget the plot of that game except that the final villain is literally stupid. Like he could've walked away, but didn't and got defeated because of that >_> I also remember the final case dragging a really really long time too.
