I understand some natives not liking stuff like that but I'm betting the local ones near a high school I went to wherent happy with the highschool starting to axe native American related stuff being attached to the school where the team name was the warriors. They made and donated several totem poles for the school over the years. School only had one but according to my mother it was a thing back in the day when their rival team beat em in football theyd (the rival team) would chop it down. And the local natives always made em a new one.
