I've no doubt he had racist tendencies, but I don't think you can really make a Nazi out of him. That doesn't invalidate everything in this article, but it definitely feels more like satisfying a personal grudge rather than going for total accuracy. "If your economic policies disenfranchise people disproportionately, you're a white supremacist." I've lurked in 2 alt right discords before (got kicked out of both, one for telling them the jews aren't why their lives suck and the other for inactivity cause I never said anything after a while) and saw the kind of shit they say firsthand. both of them were invites through gaming, and were innocent at first. then the memes started trickling in, getting progressively more racist. the redpilling shit is real.
