Weight loss is a common complement. All it warrants is "thanks". My response to most compliments is that and that's fine. I don't have a issue with compliments though.

Someone who has enough definition to show an outline, or a 2 or 4 pack, still "has abs" amongst those who talk about it, with a 6 pack being the most lean end.

And did I say to get a six pack, or just to shoot for abs? Because this entire topic has been ppl telling me that getting a six pack is a stupid goal, when I never even recommended it.

I think I only said 6-pack two or three times. But Ive mostly just called them abs And I didnt only google a few things. I read about this stuff years ago. Still better than you acting like you know better than the experts just because I got information from the internet. Are you saying information from experts dont matter? Telling someone who just lost a lot of weight to "go for abs" next is telling them get a 6 pack. I'm the one who said it's a waste of time and you can still get abs (not 6 pack) from doing more rounded exercises instead of ab work. Me. End talk.

If you felt people misinterpreted you, you could have been very clear with this 4 ab thing and corrected everyone from the start. It's just odd you spent so much time arguing about the merits vs dangers (Link) of a 6 pack to later come to this 4 pack "correction" for us. Instead it comes off very much like you're in favour of striving hard for defined abs. Which is fine. I just think it's a waste of time for normal people. That was my point all along I wasn't talking about health issues. I was very clear I was talking about concentrated ab work for normal people and compared them to pros who have the time and incentive for that. But instead of agreeing with me, which you would have if you didn't think people should be doing that, you're like well it's actually not that time consuming (it is) it's more a diet thing (that too). From there, and reading through all your posts arguing, the whole narrative is you being in a favour of this stuff. You don't have to put it in block capitals and someone isn't wrong because they can read between the lines.
