Don't get me wrong, I am not denying atrocities have been committed by people of European/Caucasus descent.

However, I am also friends with a lot of "white people" who are genuinely amazing folks and it makes me feel uncomfortable that the mainstream media is lumping them together with the bad apples.

It kind of surprises me that you can generalize "white people" for virtue signaling purposes, but would get smacked if you tried to do the same for any other topic. Except perhaps China, but that is a whole other issue.

The first one you have. Has a 3 guys . One black guy is good at golf and one white guy is good at golf. Then white guy who isn't good at golf is the person talking about how she has found deals .

Next one is a women who just misheard her friend. And the other business people are both black and white.

Last one that is Lily she is the made focus of the AT&T mobile ads .

The bodies of over 1000 native children have been found at residential schools. Two churches near me on band land were burnt down and at least one in Saskatchewan has been vandalized with red paint to look like blood.

Older white males have always been depicted as the dunces. Been this way since at least the 90's. So it is nothing new. In the past though, the smart logical one was the white woman. At least that has changed to be more inclusive of making fun of older white males and expanding the dunce range to white womens.

To be negatively effected by just being white in America, you need to be somewhat sensitive. Not saying hate crimes can't happen to you, but when you're the least likely for it to happen to you by a large margain and you still think everyone should focus on you...eh. and there's nothing wrong with being kind of sensitive, but you should keep in mind what others are going through while people are saying things that make you feel unloved in a country that favors you in 90% of ways. (This is where you quote the first sentence of this paragraph and just argue that while ignoring the points attached to it)

When you're a minority in America, you're effected financially and have to fear that the people hired to protect you are gonna murder you instead if you call them for help.

You're not the victim when you automatically can get the benefit of the doubt from the people hired to make the decisions of who the villain is. Literally having the judge, jury and executioner all on your side. Thankfully it's shifting, but we're nowhere near the finish line and whining about people saying mean things about you online or making you look dumb (if you're a fan of diverse comedy, you realize this happens to everyone by their own communities) will never not be seen as petty and distractive in the grand scheme. Maybe put that sensitive nature you got towards caring about others.

The biggest danger with this narrative I've found it decreases empathy for white males, which I think is partly why the suicide rate is so high among that population.

I honestly don't care if that gets modded.

Seriously, if you're tired of the "mainstream media generalizing white people as bad" wait until you hear about what we experience in real life.

I think the majority of the white people hate is just on social media, and by the sjw types or angsty teens.

Doesnt help when the same users criticizing white people are also linking to or posting about Critical Race Theory, so now the right thinks schools are teaching kids to hate white people.

And some like to add a mass shooting as a preamble to that suicide, there is a clear downward spiral in the mental health of young white folks (adolescents especially) and it's been going on for decades. There's certainly an interesting conversation to be had here, these people may very well experience some form of societal oppression and have only been deluded into believing it's because of race or we could have indeed crossed over to the point anti white sentiments have actually progressed to a point that, for an adolescent whose experience of life is high school and the internet at least, could be pushing people over the edge. We need data on this to make that determination though and that seems to be something no one is clamoring for.

Even if what they're perceiving is the right wing amplification of the worst possible connotations of these things that just makes it more tragic and more important for white people to be included in the conversation....
...So...let's add white to the people of color and straight to the LGBTQ+, some form of unity must be embraced or we're all likely fucked
