Based on various cases I've seen around the US, it might very well be unconstitutional to punish someone for going naked in public provided they had some legitimate artistic basis for doing so.

Sure, why not. As long as it's not sexually inappropriate (arousal, sexual harassment, involving children etc.) (I'm not from a country where they are weird with nudity, it's different depending on country.)
