edit: actually, since the person who stole it could only have been 4 of my neighbours maybe I should call police and make big stink about it just to throw muscle around... make my neighbours suffer and all that

nah, just some headphone cables and some food from amazon, the parcel was worth about $45.

There's internal cameras here so the thief will be discovered as soon as my landlord reviews the tapes and I won't exactly miss the items... I can just reorder

But I don't know if I should get double-down pissly or not

Go to random parks and pick up dog shit then dump it in a big box and leave it outside with a fake shipping label.

FedEx/Whatever only cares if there was a signature required otherwise their responsibility is over once the package has been dropped at the location. So from their end there's probably nothing to report. If there's cameras, then sure, go to the police with it. If it really was one of your neighbors then it's all the more important to put the screws to them.

Ya, on their end I mostly have a complaint that they delivered the package without notifying me... I didn't know my package was here, 2 feet away from me, until like 3 hours later and when I looked it wasn't there.

Yet low and behold they have a picture of the parcel at my door, so they definitely did deliver it - but they didn't knock, they didn't contact me, and I don't know how they got in the building without me ringing them in so someone else had to (only the Canadian Post is allowed to have keys and they weren't the service used).

So I mostly just wanna point out to them that if they did even 1 of the 5 steps of delivery notification I would have my parcel

Maybe the delivery driver stole it after taking the picture.

Probably a neighbor or the landlord, but you can't be 100% sure yet.

Hate to say it but even if you had them on camera stealing police probably won't do anything. They don't seem to have much concern regarding porch pirates.
