I haven't watched anything that old in a while, but I remember when Netflix had both Die Nibelungen: Siegfried and Die Nibelungen: Kriemhild's Revenge, and I liked them.

I think they were made in the 20s.

Nosferatu (1922)

Does this word not sound like the deathbird calling your name at midnight? Beware you never say it for then the pictures of life will fade to shadows, haunting dreams will climb forth from your heart and feed on your blood.

There are silent movies I've seen multiple times. I enjoyed parts of Birth of a Nation, but despise the racism. There's an older Cleopatra movie that I saw, but that one was forgettable. In terms of movies from that era that I've seen three or more times, The Mark of Zorro and Phantom of the Opera are tied for that distinction as both came out in 1920.

I kinda regret not watching either of them last year. It would have been fun to have watched a movie that was exactly 100 years old.
