The boss at the end of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver Although my inititial reaction was getting triggered (as I'm quite the LoK fanboy), you're actually quite right. It is a pretty lousy fight, especially compared to all the other elaborate puzzle-like boss fights in the game. That healing font basically makes the fight a joke, but if it wasn't there, it would probably be near-impossible. I remember finishing this as a kid but remind me who it was. it was "Necron" sort of weird entity I looked it up and it says Necron is the final boss of Final Fantasy IX, appearing in the area Hill of Despair and representing death itself. Necron's ultimate goal is to reduce everything to nothingness. Its literally just Shoot the targets. Except replace targets with glowing points on a giant beast who moves slow as hell and has only one attack thats easy to dodge. --- If you look into the future, and see you spilling the pot of spaghetti, don't try and not spill it. And the main antagonist of the game doesn't even fight you. You can kill him in 1 hit while he monologues, or if you let him monologue one of your NPC friends will kill him for you.
