Fox News has spent the past year warning viewers about the non-existent dangers of transgender student-athletes. The channel has spent more time on the topic in just the first months of this year than it did in the past two years combined.
With 126 segments on the topic since 2019, the channel was only able to reference nine athletes from around the nation and more than a third of those segments were about two former high school students who havent competed in years. None of the athletes dominated their sport.

The channel has aired 72 discussions about trans-student athletes since January 1. None of them framed transgender people in a positive light. Anchors, hosts, and guests also referenced the topic another 58 times according to the watchdog group Media Matters.
The two girls mentioned most often Andraya Yearwood and Terry Miller, who are both Black trans runners from Connecticut were targeted by the religious right and the anti-LGBTQ hate group Alliance Defending Freedom. A group of parents filed a court case seeking to prevent them from competing; the case was dismissed.
All athletes are entitled to play school sports under federal law. Title IX bans discrimination against LGBTQ people in education, and school sports are part of education.
Foxs obsession with trans athletes is a key component of the rights vitriolic campaign to make them into a political and cultural wedge issue while putting trans kids and families in danger in the process, the group says, noting that the more the channel has demonized trans youth, the more state legislation has been introduced to ban them from participating.
During this years Conservative Political Action Conference, former President Donald Trump notably mentioned trans athletes, who he has rarely commented on, after right-wing groups and figures had campaigned in the previous two years for Trump to embrace anti-trans issues.
Thirty-one states have considered bills to ban transgender youth from participating in school sports. Five have been signed into law so far this year.

The top 4 out of 10 publicly listed majority shareholders for their respective parent corporations are the same, so its essentially like being owned by the same group of institutional investors. And yet the news they disperse almost appears diametrically opposed.

There's a biological advantage for male bodies over female bodies, men are bigger, stronger, faster, have less pain receptors and different bone/muscle structure as well as different chemicals. that's why we segregated womens sports in the first place

They're not banned from sports
The "male" division has no segregation whatsoever. Women or handicapped people or little people or giants are allowed to compete.

Same way a guy who is 235 pounds is banned from the Welterweight division but not banned from sports

But yes people with Male biological bodies should be banned from womens divisions even if their gender is female.

Your inference of "Well Shaq has good genes " is irrelevant

I didn't say "banned from sports", I said banned from competitive sports against people without the same biological advantages. In other words, having divisions based on sets of advantages (but you knew what I meant). Why is it that biological sex (or gender, I guess) is one distinction that needs to be make, but none within sex/gender, where you could have just as much of a difference over your competition within the same division (but where you are not segregated). Why are women the only group that "needs" protection from opponents who have (one specific set) advantages? What about other groups that are disadvantaged in competitive sports? Why do they not need their own divisions? Why is this one special?

Divisions? Like the dozen minor type leagues for the NHL? Single A, Double A, and Triple A for MLB? Arena league and whatever other football leagues around there instead of the NFL? The G league for the NBA and whatever else they have? Divisions like that? Theres a million of those in sports.

I have noticed that nearly everyone in favor of trans women in womens sports leagues has close to zero knowledge or support of sports

in fact most didn't even know the "Male " leagues aren't segregated.

eligibility (or ineligibility) within those divisions are not based on physical characteristics. people get placed into those based on skill. You similarly could have skill-based divisions for all people, and let people fall whey they will. why do "women sports" need to be treated separately, when the rest that you described are in fact open to all and selected purely on merit. if men make A/AA trans people make A/AA/AA and women make AAA only, then that aligns with everything else, no? Why do women's sports get a special bubble when pretty much nothing else does, unless its a separate sport (e.g., wheelchair races)?

The reason why there is no women in any of it is because they biologically can't compete. That's WHY we have female leagues in the first place.

men who are 5'0-5'4" can't (really) compete in the NBA, minus some notable exceptions. Why not have separate professional basketball divisions for them to play competitively?

Because the inherent draw of Professional sports is a display of the peak humans within the sport, with the exception of like experts of the technical aspects of the sport that play in the Olympics.

then what is the point of women's sports? if they aren't the "peak humans", why should they, until "manlets" not be relegated to "middle or high school sports", since they can't compete at the top levels? Why should women get special treatment when other groups who cannot compete do not?

Because that's a showcase of peak females in the sport. That can be inspiring to the younger generations or interesting to those who would find it interesting.

That's why there is a WNBA and Women's Tennis and other female leagues.

but if you created a B or C-tier league showing even semi-pros, you're not going to attract a lot of attention because the potential for mind-blowing play is severely limited. Its partially why knockoff leagues don't succeed, the caliber of play is just not nearly as interesting.
