@DocDelicious so basically, if god forbid someone shattered your ribs and crushed your legs, then by this argument of yours we shouldn't spend time thinking about it because it affected such a small portion of the population?

Fwiw the global population of redheads is 1-2%, and the transgender population is probably closer to 1% though many in the world can't transition due to it being a death or jail sentence.

You can't affect cancer with activism, education and protest. In time, the ignorance and way of thinking that enables racism and transphobia can be ended. But cancer? You can't conduct reform against cancer.

Overpopulation is a myth, the issue is the power structures prevent us from actually adequately distributing the food resources we have. Even with companies being paid to under produce or else to destroy their excess, there's still more food made than the entire global population needs.

Oh honey. You can't remove racism without also removing the existing power structures that hold minorities down while benefitting white people. The latter is an absolute must to actually solving racism. Likewise, there's also a lot of zoning issues around areas that minorities live in, and so on.

The others are definite issues, but ones that can be resolved with enough time and structural change. All the money in the world won't stop cancer existing though and far too many will simply never have the means to catch it early, or could simply be fucked and have it extremely young.

Every single human being can do something about transphobia and racism on a personal level. They are not natural phenomena. This topic was obviously made in bad faith to make bigotry seem less bad in relation to something everyone can agree is awful.

Even though racism is a serious problem. Conflict is in human nature. If you get rid of racism, people will still pick on each other between their height and weight, attractiveness etc.

So I think cancer is the answer. It will create another problem of sudden overpopulation to solve but it is worth it.

Saying this as someone who lost their grandpa to cancer, you're a moron. Disease isn't what keeps population low. Its technology and education. Most first world countries need to continually import people to keep their population up.

Racism and transphobia are arbitrary divisions to hate other people. Even if you magicked them away, people would find other excuses to hate each others. We need to learn to accept and love each others despite our differences, magically removing some conceptual divisions is not going to fix that.

There's a lot of different places actively working on cancer research, how to treat and prevent it, and eventually they'll discover a cure or advanced treatments/surgeries that can cleanse it entirely.

Racism can't be approached scientifically. Neither can Transphobia but TBH Racism is a much larger problem.
