We argue that US support for democratization was consistent in the wave of transitions to democracy that began in Latin America in 1978 and that it was decisive in many of these transitions. China's going to take over because of their government and how other countries, including their citizens, refuse to take action because they're reliant on China, America included. If you want to truly stand up for human rights, America and other first world countries are going to lose their iPhones and many other things they take for granted, since China all produces them. We also don't need to manage our guns, since America should be believing in self-defense and keeping their government in check. China has a fascist government, which pretty much proves that fascism is not "out of date" and that "we can trust our government". The only ones who seem to think America has it all are other countries who don't know of some of America's major issues.
