It's huge there. So much that they made a movie about ten years ago solely for the that regional market, and it broke Mexican box office records.

Man, that's awesome. I used to watch vintage cartoons as a kid for some reason and Top Cat was one of my favs. Glad it's still being enjoyed somewhere. Also - animated movie? Gonna have to peep. >_>

Gigantor, no idea when it originally aired but I remember watching it the last half hour of adult swim before it went back to cartoon network. Amazingly catchy theme song:
https://youtu.be/NqGLyOd_nnA

Edit: released in 1963 in Japan and 1964 in the US.
@kirbyakaZ
And...now that song is stuck in my head. But just the first part, repeating over and over...

I didn't realize the show was that old.

ETA: Oh, that's a different version from the one I remember. There must have been a remake.

I was looking up some examples of logical fallacies for my freshmen, and one site had a clip from a Star Trek cartoon. I didn't realize Star Trek had an animated version.

The channel I used to watch most when I was a kid was Boomerang which used to mainly show classic cartoons as well as Nick Toons for Spongebob and Rugrats.

These might be more popular than I expect or too recent to count (they're still like 15 years old or something shut up)
What's with Andy?
Corneil & Bernie
Jacob Two-Two
Fillmore
Oggy and the Cockroaches
Braceface
I forget what it was called but that one cartoon with the robot guy constantly cloaking himself as a blue-haired? dude while trying to escape capture with the help of some lady
Also another show that was very similar in theming to Kung Fu Panda but wasn't that, a bunch of animals with martial art skills and maybe some elemental powers?
I remember those three. They were all oddly endearing.

About a decade or so ago, Jacob Two Two aired on the Qubo programming block along with shows like Marvin the Tap Dancing Horse and Jane & the Dragon (greatest expository opening ever btw)

Oddly enough, late night/early morning the same network aired a few early 80s cartoons like the aforementioned Ghostbusters (the one with the gorilla), Bravestar, and the infinitely more renowned He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, as well as its spinoff series She-Ra: Princess of Power.

Good bit of nostalgia tripping at 2am

And my go-to in topics like this that I don't have any memory of, despite clearly remembering literally every other cartoon on CBS's 1985 Saturday morning lineup and led in to Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling:

Space Stars was an hour long show made up of like Space Ghost, The Herculoids, some generic space trio of superheroes, and a show where Astro from the Jetsons became a space cop.

The Mysterious Cities Of Gold, in the united states anyway.

I used to freaking love this show as a kid, and never missed a episode when it played on nickelodeon. Hell nickelodeon theirselves probably forgot they used to air this:

I want to say this show is probably what started my love of anime. One of those french-japanese collaboration shows if I remember correctly.
