I dont own a PC so is it worth it on the PS4?

I do own a PC and I thought the game was pretty bland. Maybe I was just over Civilization after 5. It just didn't feel like it had any charm or character to it.

I got it on Switch a while back. Just wanted something to use while traveling but it was a waste of money, I got bored after 1 hour, stuck with it another 5 hours but no improvement.

I really hope you didn't end up picking it up, it runs like ass on PS4. So much so that they completely gave up trying to fix it, you can still see Twitter replies to the civilization 6 account calling them out for abandoning it

Its a good and all, but I can't imagine it performing well on console.

Got it for $8 physically on Switch. It runs fine there imo. It's fun but dense af.

I've heard there are some issues unique to the PS4 version, but also it runs fine on Switch, so not sure what that could be.

It's a good game, even if I don't like it as much as V

It performed fine on switch and controlled reasonably well, and it's fun and addicting as fuck

With expansions, it's better than V with expansions, imo. Both do some things better than the other, but the ability to play wide empires makes VI more enjoyable to me. IV with expansions is better than both anyway. Not that it matters to you since V and earlier aren't on consoles.

That said, it's only worth playing with the expansions (R&F and GS, the New Frontier Pack is fun but not necessary), but so was V.

civ 6 came out and i got it. didn't hook me like the other
